Fennec is a local-first audio recording application with optional cloud-based transcription services.
3. Legal Compliance & Recording Consent
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your recording of conversations complies with applicable local laws, including obtaining consent from all parties where required.
4. User Content & Prohibited Uses
Your recordings stay on your machine. You only grant us the rights to process your audio when you explicitly invoke the optional transcription service. You agree not to use Fennec for any illegal activities, to infringe on intellectual property, or to attempt to reverse engineer the application.
5. Service Modifications
We strive to continuously improve Fennec. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.
6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Fennec is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for lost local data (since it resides on your machine) or inaccuracies in text generated by cloud services. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the service.
